My wife and I visited the statue and she did indeed touch and we did indeed conceive within the year. The Morgantown Public Library System serves over 100,000 residents living in Monongalia County in the northeastern quarter of West Virginia. One of the stories about the statue says that any woman who touches the Woman will become pregnant within a year. I think anyone who grows up within 50 miles of that cemetery is legally required to visit it at some point. I’m sure that you’ve heard about the world famous Weeping Woman statue in Parkersburg.
